Two glasses of milk a day

Canadian researchers in a recent study found that the optimal amount of milk for children between 2 and 5 years old is two glasses. The results of the study could be seen in the journal Pediatrics. Two glasses is as much as it takes for a child to get the best health benefits. The results of the study were to dispel all doubts that have arisen so far. Scientists have found that the equivalent of two glasses of milk provides the right amount of vitamin D (responsible for good bone and tooth health) and iron. Larger amounts of milk in children over two years of age can lead to iron deficiency (leading to anemia and slowing down of the child's development).

The researchers pointed out that for children who have dark complexion, there may be a need to supply more vitamin D. In this situation, instead of supplying milk, supplementation is indicated in their opinion.
